Hosting & delivery

This website is delivered as static files. When the site is accessed, technically necessary connection data (IP address, timestamp, user agent, requested resource) are processed for content delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Web analytics (Umami, self-hosted)

We use the self-hosted open-source software Umami to understand how this website is used. Umami runs on our own servers in Germany; your data does not leave our infrastructure.

What we collect: pages viewed and timestamp, referring URL, browser type and screen resolution (anonymised), country (derived from IP — the IP itself is not stored).

What we do not collect: your IP address (discarded after country lookup), classic cookies (Umami is cookieless), device fingerprints.

Pseudonymous visitor ID (only with consent): if you accept the consent banner, a randomly generated UUID is stored in your browser (localStorage). This allows us to link a later inquiry submitted via our contact form to your earlier visit, so we can respond in context.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Retention: the UUID remains in your browser until you clear browser data or revoke consent. Analytics data is automatically deleted after 24 months. Withdrawal: you can revoke consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Linking website visits to inquiries

If you submit a contact or inquiry form on this site and you previously consented to web analytics, the pseudonymous visitor UUID stored in your browser is included with the form submission and stored alongside your CRM record. This is processed on our own servers only and not shared with third parties (except for transactional services described elsewhere in this policy).

Contact requests

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (name, email, message) solely to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). No transfer to third parties takes place, except to partners required to respond.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Retention

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.
